Insurance Policy
Can you transfer an insurance policy to an office in another city?
My husband and I have insurance through State Farm. We have recently moved, approximately one hours drive from the office is through our insurance, though, which makes things very inconvienent. There is a State Farm Bureau closer to where we are now life. Does anyone know whether we bring our insurance policy to another State Farm Bureau closer to us without any fee or rate change? (I do not really enjoy dealing with insurance office, so I would not ask unless I know it can be done.)
Do not contact the office that you leave. Instead, take your policy number (Or the policy itself) into the new office. The transfer is a paper transaction. The agent only needs to win to have OA of notification. (OA-Office Assistant.) This is sooooo easy to do, you'll have no trouble, unless you try to make it difficult. Smiles.
