How can I get car insurance liability without U.S. license?
I am a foreign citizen and we want to buy a car Francisco to San a cross country trip. The only problem seems to auto insurance liability coverage, which are required during driving. How do the others, such a journey? Are there any insurance companies offer daily rates, or packages of periodic non-American driver's license? Where is the car will be registered? You can not buy a car in the U.S., and record and ensure that a foreign address. Are you actually resident in San Francisco? There are exceptions for military personnel stationed in the U.S., but it's a little different for a tourist.
