Car insurance rates are determined by credit score and driving record is not?

I see a lot of people complain that they have and a good driving record, but bad credit their insurance prices rise .. with good credit ratings better than with a good driving record?

They examine both the credit rating and driving record and many other things. Each has its own system for how much each factor counts. I guess a driving record is more important than a credit score

I have a competing offer from Aviva, and Admiral ELEPHANT.co.uk Which company would you use and why? Lindsay, thats interesting.
