What legal options do I have immigrants in relation to a car accident caused by an illegal?

An illegal immigrant with a fake Mexican driver's license rear ended my car and the police "forgotten" the man of the insurance information document. All I got was "progressive" and the man VIN and license plate. The license was fake, because the address does not exist. Naturally Progressive is saying they have no record of that car and my insurance does not cover uninsured car insurance. All options? I'm supposed to go to court in a month, but the Mexican man will probably not show up.

You need a good lawyer to get. According to the DHS rules, the illegal alien who caused the accident is supposed to be kept in prison at a minimum of $ 100k bond for driving with an illegal license causing an accident. You should sue the police for negligence and the police force to pay for any damage to your vehicle.
